Know before you go
Seman Beach lies about 19 km west of Fier, near where the Seman river — the ancient Apsus — reaches the Adriatic. It's a long, open sandy beach with pine forest behind it, and it's where families from Fier and the surrounding towns come to cool off.
Expect sand rather than pebbles, warm and shallow water, beach bars along the busier stretch and plenty of empty shoreline beyond them. The water is greener than on the Riviera, but the space, the shade under the pines and the sunsets make up for it.
